Recent research has revealed that in 2014, 1 out of 5 people were dealing with symptoms of anxiety and depression. This is more than just feeling sad; it has a physical and mental impact due to the continuous release of stress hormones. Symptoms of depression such as exhaustion, bad temper, changes in eating habits, sleep disruption, memory issues and not wanting to do the things we love can all be telltale signs that something isn’t right. Hypnotherapy can bring about real change in people’s lives by creating new neural pathways and REM processes that help the individual view negative situations from a different, more positive perspective. This allows them to develop a healthier outlook towards their future.
